Lake Danao, Ormoc, Leyte

April 22, 2006. I'd just hopped on a boat to Ormoc the night before on the wishes of my father. Earth Day, I was swimming in the refreshing waters of a lake, cooled by a mountain breeze, tummy filled by a great lunch of grilled fish cooked right on the raft. Good thing the sun was out, so I didn't feel too chilly when we went boating. My last trip for April. May, here I come...

(sorry, Palawan, Malapascua and Southern Cebu photos will have to wait again. their sheer number still overwhelms me =P)

  4. thanks for the encouraging comments =) though the sea will always insist on calling me to its shores, there's a serenity in lakes that i'm coming to love, too.
