Twin Lakes, Sibulan, Negros Oriental

08 September 2007. Finally was able to go up to the famous Twin Lakes, Lake Balinsasayao and Lake Danao (supposedly the craters of an old volcano separated by a ridge), as chaperone of a zoology class.

Went swimming and kayaking (anywhere there's water! that's always my motto). I think my love affair with lakes is really growing, the absence of waterfalls and islets notwithstanding.

PS and this time, i'm putting pictures of people, because it seems animals and landscapes are not as interesting to others as they are to me :P

Originally, it was scheduled sa June, but for some reasons, moved to September.
Voltaire told me that her favorite spot was the little wharf in front of the dorm. didto daw siya mag gitara. and god, it was so beautiful, from the vantage point, the wharf tip points directly to such a beautiful sunrise~

before the 15th of oct, certainly.
the bright side is, i can now afford the visit.
if only time were on my side...

by the way, if not for the bangka, this could have been
the lake district in cumbria or any of the highland lochs.
the best part is, you can SWIM here.
bless the bangka and the children. =)
