Alay sa mga naninirahan
nakalutang, nakahabi't

and issues of the sea

upon, intertwined with,
and sustained by the sea
and its wonders.

Hello all, long-time no post. And here's why - the album Mga Awit ng
Magdaragat took all my energy - but it's finally done. Featuring
music and performances by myself, Noel Cabangon, Cynthia Alexander,
and many others. I did all the lyrics.

The CD is 12-songs plus 8 minus-ones long! It's an ensemble
performance, and both form and content will encourage both dance and
theater usage.

8 of the 12 songs were composed by musicians other than myself: Noel
C, Cynthia A (2 pieces), Onie Badiang, Bayang and Mike Villegas (2
pieces), Chang Tengasantos, and Mlou Matute.

Featured vocalists are: Meself, Noel C, Cynthia A, Onie B, Kevin Roy,
Jingle Buena, Chang Tengasantos (of Reggae Mistress), Dessa Ilagan
(inaanak ko!) and Mac Vicente (Womenspace), plus a handful of angels...

It's a great album.

I made my first deliveries today:

MagNet (8 branches)
Maroon's (UP Diliman Shopping Center)

Tomorrow I expect to deliver to:

Popular Bookstore (Morato/Timog)
Conspiracy Garden Cafe (59 Visayas Ave.)

250 pesoses lang!

Cheers!

JoeyA

  1. In Davao Awit ng Magdaragat is at Karl's Koffee Korner (airport, SM, Buhangin) and somewhere in NCCC/Matina. Sa Cebu wala pa intawon!
